Where’s Paul Dougherty?

Multiple sources have confirmed to The Bob & Steve Show that Haddon Township Commissioner Paul Dougherty was a no show at tonight’s commissioners meeting.

You may recall Dougherty is the Haddon Township Commissioner with multiple municipal prosecutor positions who drove his car into the back of another car, left the scene, called the police chief and tried to blame his wife, and then admitted he was driving when police arrived at his house missed last night’s caucus meeting in Haddon Township.

There were rumors Dougherty was going to resign as a commissioner this evening, it didn’t happen.

This is the third meeting at which Township business is done that Dougherty has missed since the time of the traffic incident. When he missed the first commissioners meeting the crowd at the meeting was informed Dougherty was on vacation, there was no reason given when he missed the caucus meeting last week. Tonight’s meeting is the third straight meeting missed by the Dougherty.

Is Dougherty simply hiding from Township residents? Is he on a long vacation?

Maybe he’s in training to be a crash test dummy.

The taxpayers of Haddon Township deserve to know why he’s missing these meetings. We’ll dig deeper and try to find out.
