Today, NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt called on Governor Phil Murphy to fire a political appointee who made multiple anti-semitic comments on his Facebook page. The press release from the state party follows:

Trenton, NJ - A report from NJ Globe yesterday revealed that Murphy Administration appointee Jeffrey Dye had made multiple anti-semitic comments on his Facebook page.

This is not the first questionable hire of the Murphy administration with which the NJGOP has taken issue. NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt called for an investigation into the hiring of corrupt official Marcellus Jackson and was the first to call for an investigation into the hiring of accused rapist Al Alvarez.

NJGOP Chairman said the following regarding Jeffrey Dye's employment with the Murphy Administration:

"This Administration has been plagued with one scandal after another. The pattern of bad behavior and bad hires is beyond bad judgement and indicative of a broader, more insidious bad government. At what point do you stop apologizing for your appointees’ mistakes, biases and alleged assaults and start atoning for them? Yes, Jeffrey Dye must be terminated from his position with the State, but maybe it’s time NJ fire Phil Murphy, too."
