PRESS RELEASE: ABC- NJ CHAPTER EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM APPLICATIONS

New Jersey Associated Builders & Contractors President former Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi announced the organization has extended the deadline for their Past Presidents Memorial Scholarship Fund. New Jersey Associated Builders & Contractors press release announcing the deadline extension follows:

The 2020 Robert Risnychok Associated Builders & Contractors Past Presidents Memorial Scholarship deadline has been extended to Thursday, June 25th. The scholarship winner will be announced in July by the Scholarship Selection Committee.

The award was established to honor Bob Risnychok, a dedicated member and past president of ABC-NJ, after his death in 2007. The scholarship is eligible to any child or grandchild of any employee of any ABC member firm, who personifies the value of education and particularly in fostering future leaders in construction or related industries.  To be eligible, individuals must complete an application and submit to their high school or college guidance counselor for verification.

“We are proud to honor our past presidents by supporting our members and most importantly the next generation,” said Sam Fiocchi, President of ABC NJ Chapter.  “Education is a critical component of our mission and we are honored to support our members' personal and professional families.”
