Phil Murphy Tried To Kill My Sister (And A Bunch Of Peoples’ Grandparents)

If ever there was a reason for me to vote against someone Phil Murphy provided me that reason. In fact, thanks to Murphy’s nursing home COVID policies, at least 8,000 families have a very good reason to vote against Murphy.

None of my relatives died in a nursing home, they couldn’t, none live in one. But, my sister, with a bunch of letters after her last name and a long job title, is kind of a big deal for a couple of nursing homes. She witnessed first-hand what Murphy’s policies did to folks in nursing homes.

As far as I’m concerned, and I’ve said it on the radio show a bunch of times, Phil Murphy tried to kill my sister – and every employee in every nursing home in the state – that’s a lot of families with plenty of reason to vote against Phil Murphy.

Over 8,000 people died and it is all Phil Murphy’s fault. He was warned it would happen. Don’t take my word for it, NJ.com reported it on March 14. Here’s the warning, as it was reported:

“Patients will die,” an unidentified administrator declared, according to a recording of the outspoken meeting obtained by NJ Advance Media. “You understand that by asking us to take COVID patients, by demanding we take COVID patients, that patients will die in nursing homes that wouldn’t have otherwise died had we screened them out.”

I know there are some Democrats who are going to argue that it is not true nursing homes were ordered to take COVID patients. I would strongly suggest you read the advisory that was sent to long-term care facilities by she who needs no introduction Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli. It says in part:

No patient/resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the post-acute care setting solely based on a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19. Persons under investigation for COVID-19 who have undergone testing in the hospital shall not be discharged until results are available. Post-acute care facilities are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized patient/resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.

That would make me believe I had no choice and had to accept COVID patients.

What did our state legislature do about it? Well, the Democrats in the legislature voted to terminate the public health emergency but allow “certain executive orders, directives, and powers will remain in effect temporarily.” (screen shots of how the legislators in both chambers follow this post)

Only in New Jersey can a Governor be rewarded for killing over 8,000 senior citizens by his party voting to grant him “certain executive orders, directives and powers” until after the election.

When you head out to the polls tomorrow don’t forget which candidate has 8,000 deaths on his hands.

While I understand there are several people on the ballot, the truth is this a two-person race. Don’t go wasting your vote on the Libertarian candidate because you don’t think Jack Ciattarelli is conservative enough. That’s just stupid!

Don’t stay home because you think the election is rigged. That’s dumb! Seriously, do you honestly believe they weren’t cheating in 2016 for Hillary Clinton? Trump still won because people went out and voted. If 2016 taught us anything it’s that all the cheating in the world isn’t going to help if enough of us get out and vote.

As for me, I filled out my mail-in ballot for Jack Ciattarelli and drove it to the Board of Elections. Even if I didn’t like the guy, even if he didn’t have a plan to fin New Jersey I would have voted for him because Phil Murphy tried to kill my sister!

And, don’t forget to check out who voted yes to grant Murphy “certain executive orders, directives and powers” until after the election and vote against them.

Ciattarelli-Allen Launch Website & 1st in a Series of Ads Targeting the Serial Mistreatment of Women Under Murphy

Press Release.jpg

Jack Ciattarelli and his Lieutenant Governor running mate Diane Allen, by way of press release, have announced they “launched a website and the first in a series of ads targeting the mistreatment of women under Governor Murphy, starting with the Governor, First Lady, and Murphy's inner circle of powerful men who willfully ignored Katie Brennan's pleas for help at every turn as she sought to report her rape allegations and seek justice resulting from her harrowing experience on the Murphy campaign.”

This morning’s press release is below:

The Ciattarelli-Allen ticket today launched a website and the first in a series of ads targeting the mistreatment of women under Governor Murphy, starting with the Governor, First Lady, and Murphy's inner circle of powerful men who willfully ignored Katie Brennan's pleas for help at every turn as she sought to report her rape allegations and seek justice resulting from her harrowing experience on the Murphy campaign.

"Governor Murphy has continually covered up for powerful men throughout his career in government, politics and business at the expense of women who have stood up as victims of abuse, discrimination, misogyny and sexual assault," said Senator Diane Allen. "From his time at Goldman Sachs, to his tenure as Ambassador to Germany, to the women's soccer team he owns, to his campaign, and right through his administration, victims have been ignored and their pleas for help swept under the rug. Governor Murphy only acts when his career or his reputation are threatened. It's always about him, and never about the women who have been so badly mistreated, or worse."

The Ciattarelli-Allen campaign launched a website for New Jerseyans to learn more about the Murphy Administration's bad record when it comes to responding to women's abuse.

"No young woman should be forced to endure what Katie Brennan went through. Her courage in speaking out against the Murphy campaign's toxic culture took great strength and is rightfully admired by young women regardless of party affiliation," said Stami Williams, campaign spokeswoman. "Governor Murphy, on the other hand, should be ashamed of his behavior. At best, he is guilty of a stunning lack of leadership and empathy about what is happening within his own campaign after receiving Ms. Brennan's email, and at worst, a willingness to sweep sexual assault under the rug to get elected governor."
